SILWEL PLUS Acetoxy Silicone Sealant is a cost effective, general purpose, acetic cure formulation offering long term durability in a range of general sealing and general glazing applications.

​Used for:

  • Glass to Glass Application

  • Glass to Aluminum Frame

  • Glass to PVC Frame

  • Glass to Wood Frame

  • Ceramic Application

  • Skylights

  • Acrylic Signages

  • Bathroom Fixtures

  • Sealing Plastics / Vinyls

​Limitations:

​

  • NOT suitable for structural glazing use

  • NOT to be painted over

  • Should NOT be applied to:

    • Galvanized Iron, Copper, Brass, Zinc-Coated Steel

    • Concrete, Cement, Brick, Limestone, Marble & Porous Stone Finishes

    • Reflective Coating on Mirrors

    • Continuous water immersion

    • Sealing or Construction of Aquariums

    • Joints exceeding ±25% movement

    • Polycarbonate Plastic Sheeting

    • Below ground joints where abrasion & physical abuse are encountered

    • Materials that bleed plasticizers or solvents

    • Do not clean or treat sealant with solvents or cleaning agents during sealant cure

    • Below -5°C temperature

    • Insulated Glass

    • Interior Penetration Firestop Sealing System

    • Surfaces in direct contact with food or drinking water

    • Totally confined spaces as sealant requires atmospheric moisture to cure
